Research and innovation
EDF R&D plays a key role for the Group and its customers. Working on projects defined by the Group's overall strategy, R&D helps to optimize the operating performance of all businesses, clarifies future possibilities, and prepared the drivers of our growth.
The development of low-carbon electricity is R&D's core focus. The priority is the nuclear revival and the development of renewables in particular.
Edf R&D is working on the modernization of infrastructures to optimize both output and safety. Our researchers are also exploring new energy possibilities and developing innovative products for our customers worldwide.
